German Heer HQ The German officers within this unit were not only capable but also experienced leaders. They were trained to step up and take charge in the absence of their superiors, demonstrating initiative and control in challenging situations. Each officer unit consists of the officer himself along with up to two attendants who support him directly.

German Heer Medium Machine Gun Team The Germans were equipped with two exceptional machine guns - the MG34 and the rapid-firing MG42, known to Allied soldiers as 'Hitler's Buzz Saw' due to its unique sound. Referred to as 'Spandau', the Germans used these machine guns as both squad weapons with bipods and as support weapons mounted on tripods. The tripod mount provided a more stable platform for firing and facilitated sustained fire using belt feed ammunition.

German Heer Medium Mortar Team The standard German medium mortar during the war was the 80mm Granatwerfer 34. This highly effective and precise weapon offered longer range fire support when needed. With a maximum range of 2,400 meters and a rate of fire of 15-20 rounds per minute, it was an indispensable asset on the battlefield. The mortar was transported in three pieces - the base plate, tube, and bipod.
