John, our CEO, was born in Cardiff, Wales. He has been a wargame designer for 27 years, working at Games Workshop and also running Games Workshop USA for 4 years. During his career, he wrote the Warhammer English Civil War rules for Warhammer Historical. John has been an enthusiastic English Civil War wargamer and re-enactor for most of his life.

Our Journey

It all began in 2007 when our CEO John and his friend created 28mm minis and a set of rules for the Napoleonic Wars. This initial venture soon expanded to include other historical periods such as World War II and the Ancient world. Their attention to detail and accuracy quickly earned them a reputation for producing highly detailed and accurate miniatures.
