The Universal Carrier, also known as the Bren carrier, was a versatile tracked and armored vehicle used by British and Commonwealth troops in various roles across all theaters of World War II. These beloved carriers were utilized for transporting troops to the frontlines, evacuating the wounded, delivering supplies and ammunition, as well as for conducting liaison and patrols. With over 113,000 units produced in the UK and abroad, the Universal Carrier holds the record for being the most widely manufactured armored fighting vehicle in history. Our plastic carrier kit offers the option to build either a Mk I or Mk II version, as it includes parts for both variants. This product is delivered unassembled and unpainted, with glue and paints not included. Players can recreate World War II battles on a tabletop using dice, model troops, tanks, and rules provided by Bolt Action for engaging one or more opponents. Each side must have painted model troops representing soldiers, guns, and tanks from their chosen armies.
