8th Army Weapons Team Miniatures for Bolt Action Table-top Wargaming

Infantry weapons teams play a crucial role in any Bolt Action army, offering valuable tactical flexibility. Among these teams, sniper teams and anti-tank teams are particularly common, posing multiple challenges for your opponent to overcome. At the beginning of the war, the British Army utilized the QF 2-pdr as its standard anti-tank gun. This weapon, known for its quick-firing capabilities, had a slight edge in armor penetration compared to the German 37mm PaK 36 gun. Despite its effectiveness, the QF 2-pdr was larger and heavier and featured an unusual carriage that required the removal of its wheels before firing. Nevertheless, it proved successful against early panzers, light vehicles, and lightly armored Japanese tanks, garnering popularity in various theaters like France, North Africa, and the Far East.

In terms of equipment, sniper teams were armed with a SMLE No.4 Rifle fitted with a No.32 Mk.1 telescopic sight. Additionally, the team carried fifty rounds of ammunition, including five tracer rounds and five armor-piercing rounds. They also had two No.36 Mills bombs or two No.77 smoke grenades, binoculars, and a camouflage net for added concealment. This set includes two Bolt Action Order Dice and Warlord Resin figures, including a QRF 2-pdr anti-tank gun with three crew members and two 2-man sniper teams along with two Bolt Action Order Dice.
