Solid battalions of redcoats known as 'Noseys' men, who exhibited discipline, toughness, and volunteerism, stood firm at Quatre Bras and Waterloo. They were confident in themselves and their officers, successfully defending the crucial ridge all day against a brave enemy.

These plastic figures can be painted as British line and Guards regiments or Kings German Legion. With a few adjustments, they can also represent the blue-tuniced Belgians. Each unit comes with a Colonel on horseback and a 9-pounder Royal Artillery battery for long-range engagement. Accompanying them are famous riflemen, sharpshooters all. This set provides enough models for a complete brigade - three British line infantry regiments of 80 men each, a regiment of 95th Rifles with 60 men, a 3-gun Royal Artillery 9-pdr battery, and three mounted brigade commanders.

On Sunday, June 18, 1815, on a rain-soaked field in Belgium, two great generals of the age clashed in what would be known as the Battle of Waterloo. This battle marked the end of around twenty years of continuous warfare in Europe and the downfall of Napoleon. It remains one of the most famous battles in military history.

Black Powder Epic Battles, based on the award-winning Black Powder rules system, allows players to refight key engagements of the Waterloo Campaign on a larger scale. Period specific additions capture the tactics, conditions, and prominent figures of the Napoleonic Wars.

Black Powder is designed to be played on large tabletops, like a pool table, and can accommodate multiplayer games with any number of players. The standard move distances are 12 inches for infantry and 18 inches for cavalry. Players will need a measuring tape as it is not included.

Build, paint, and play - the process of constructing and painting the models adds to the enjoyment of the game itself. Watching the models come to life on the tabletop is just as rewarding as the strategic gameplay.
